I had something similar happen with a band that wasn't Gane. I liked them on the radio and remembered their name, but it took forever before I actually bought a CD. By then one of their albums had gone out of print, so I kinda regretted waiting.

I became a Gane fan after renting the Conan BEST and seeing "Kimi to Iu Hikari" on Music Station. I got drawn in by their unique world. The first one I bought was "Crystallize," then I got "SPARKLE" → "Sansuko," and then IW4U came out, so I've bought every release on day one since.

Do you think Okamocchi wants to be judged just for his looks? Sure, he's good-looking, and people will feel differently about that, but Okamocchi's a guitarist and an artist. If he wanted to be recognized for his looks alone, he'd have chosen a different job. Also, your own looks have nothing to do with this. If you can't show your face, it doesn't matter how beautiful you are here. Even if I said, "People tell me I look like a Johnny's idol," there's no proof, so nobody would believe me (←just kidding). If you want people to judge your looks, go to some offline meetup. I respect how Okamocchi always plays guitar so carefully. He slouches a little, and I worry his shoulders might hurt... How I found out about GARNET CROW: a friend lent me a CD and said, "You should listen to this too!" even though I didn't ask. He'd been pushing them on me forever, so I wondered what they were like and came to check out this thread.

"Last love song" is about hoping your next love will be your last. Can't call it anything but the ultimate love song.

The 5th album leaned a bit too hard into the storyline, so a lot of the songs ended up sounding similar. Bit of a letdown. The singles weren't spread out well, and I'm still not sure they needed to mess with "Maboroshi," which was already a great song. I like some tracks on their own, but the album as a whole feels stretched out. The "WEEKEND" at the end makes it drag even more. I like "WEEKEND," but it wasn't needed on the 5th album.

When I hear Sakai-san sing "Tomatteita Tokei," she kinda sounds like Yurippe, lol. Her low voice has this cute, almost amateurish quality. And Yurippe can hold her own on the high notes too...

I want both the Live V and the PV, so I'm torn about which version of the album to get. Depends on what's included in the live DVD.

On J-pop Salon or the Japanese Music board, there aren't many regulars, so whatever, but this board gets a ton of traffic. We need to make sure no idiot like this ever shows up again, so let's lay into him.

Anyone would say ZARD has a feminine, beautiful voice (people praise her voice). Some people say Yurippe's voice is weird, but some people love it (people praise her voice, but also put it down). Her songs vary a lot, so I dunno.
