So does this mean GARNET CROW’s music couldn’t fit entirely inside a classical-music framework?

“涙のイエスタデー” had phrases from Carmen’s “Habanera” woven throughout. At the time I thought, “Why Carmen?” but then it made sense. The purely orchestral version of “忘れ咲き” at the beginning was also great. By the way, the City Philharmonic’s brass was as bad as ever. The strings and woodwinds were excellent, though.

Yeah. I really wish they had sung more songs from the STAY album. After “もう一度笑って,” I wish they had sung “恋のあいまに” instead of “Holy ground.”

It’s true that it was really enjoyable and that there were many excellent performances. But it’s also true that a very small number of audience members had exceptionally bad manners. They stood up and danced regardless of the situation, or shouted individually. If that kind of heckling happened at a normal concert, I think it would be enough to get them thrown out. It’s disappointing that some people confused a “concert” with a “recital.” It’s not good to do nothing but complain, so I’ll say that I personally love “The first cry”! At previous concerts there was a saxophone, but the weight really is different after adding an orchestra.

I normally skip “花は咲いて〜,” but the arrangement this time was wonderful. It matched the orchestra perfectly and made me appreciate the song again. Handel was playing as we entered, which suddenly heightened my anticipation. Then the orchestral version of “忘れ咲き” at the beginning also moved me. It was a little disappointing, though, that they didn’t perform “今日の君と〜,” “Over Blow,” or “春待つ〜” from “All Lovers.” But if you start asking for more, it never ends.

If they don’t release a DVD, that’ll be a problem. It happens every time…

The people yelling during the tuning were probably on the same level as the sort of people who get banned from entering soccer stadiums.

Fans of Mr. Fujiwara They commented, “He has a somewhat mysterious, distinctive voice.” Those people are obstacles to allowing people like that to become fans too.

An orchestra and GARNET CROW… it was a very fresh and precious experience. But rather than the lavish concert (with 70 orchestra members who weren’t interested in GARNET CROW), I might prefer a concert where everyone—members, backing musicians, and audience—builds the excitement together…

But the fans who cause trouble for the members by making a racket during tuning or making the members give the orchestra an apologetic look… The worst was “Perform something for us〜.” Have they mistaken GARNET CROW’s members for circus monkeys?

Also, people left their seats several times during the show, sometimes in groups of two or three as if they had planned it. It really felt like those idiots ruined the greatest stage. I hope they edit it properly when they release the DVD. By the way, was the female string player who shook hands with Yurippe at the end a GARNET CROW fan?
