In the questionnaire postcard included with Vol.83, we asked readers what kind of feature they wanted to see at the end and beginning of the year. Common answers included handwritten messages from artists, their hopes for 2002, and each artist’s complete 2001 discography. So we decided to ask artists to write New Year’s cards to readers in their own hand. Of course, music freak magazine does more than show the cards: it also presents each artist’s 2001 releases and plans for 2002. This is a rich New Year feature that brings together readers’ voices. Plans for 2002

The new song “Naked Story” is being broadcast in the anime *The Adventures of the Flying Ship* (*パタパタ飛行船の冒険*) on WOWOW! The new single “夢みたあとで” arrives March 6! In addition, the radio program *PASTIME PARADISE*, hosted by Hitoshi Okamoto (α-STATION, every other Saturday from 21:00 to 22:00), begins broadcasting on January 12, 2002!
