GARNET CROW has entered 2006 and is currently creating new music. As new information arrives, including the decision to release the new single “籟・来・也,” Hirohito Furui gives us an early look at the new song.

GARNET CROW’s first new release of 2006 is ethnic music!!
When I first saw the title, it made me very curious about what kind of song it would be.
With its exotic sound and mysterious atmosphere, I feel this song has become a work that lets us experience a new world of GARNET CROW.

★ New single “籟・来・也” confirmed for release March 1!!
GARNET CROW’s first single of 2006, “籟・来・也” (pronounced “Rai Rai Ya”), will be released on March 1. It has also been confirmed as the ending theme for the TBS nationwide Canon Special *Ancient Excavation Mystery: The Amazon’s Hidden Giant Civilization—A Major Discovery! Ruins from Before the Common Era... The Legendary People Who Reshaped the Land—*, scheduled to air nationwide in early March! For information about this single, please see p.41 of this issue.

GARNET CROW has just released “籟・来・也,” their first single of 2006.
This time YURI NAKAMURA talks about the new song.

“籟・来・也,” the first single of 2006 and of our sixth year since debut, has been released. I sang about the vast, indispensable, irreplaceable things we all need—sky, earth, sea, and wind. Last year nature became a threat and there were many disasters that caused great pain, but nature also brings us abundant blessings. I hope this song can become an opportunity, especially in times like these, to think about how we can coexist with nature and to trace the roots of our own lives. We will work hard this year so that we can put down firm roots in the soil we have cultivated over the past five years and grow deeply and widely. Thank you for your continued support.
