~Introduction~

The music freak magazine (a free music paper published from 1994 to 2009) and music freak Es (a membership-based monthly magazine launched in January 2010 in place of music freak magazine) have compiled the feature pages they published, organized by artist, into the "Flash Back" series of collected volumes.

To date, nine items have been published: ZARD (I in 2008 and II in 2011), Mai Kuraki (2009), GARNET CROW (2009), Rina Aiuchi (2010), U-ka Saegusa IN db (2010), GIZA MEN (New Cinema 蜥蜴, WAG, Hitoshi Okamoto / SUPER LIGHT, doa, Naifu, and Chicago Poodle) (2012), and B'z (I & II in 2013). Alongside many readers' comments saying how happy they were finally able to read issues they had missed, these volumes have been warmly received as permanent keepsakes that compactly preserve each artist's release history and live activities.

This time, the second GARNET CROW volume has been completed as a sequel to the GARNET CROW music freak collection published in 2009, [music freak magazine Flash Back GARNET CROW 10th Memories].

The first volume collected the pages published from the December 1999 issue (music freak magazine VOL.61), GARNET CROW's first appearance in music freak, through the August 2009 issue (music freak magazine VOL.176), the anniversary year marking their tenth anniversary since debut. This volume contains the pages published after that, along with cover designs and other material.

From their debut in 2000 until their disbandment in 2013, music freak brought readers the appeal of GARNET CROW's music through their releases, live performances, events, and other activities. We sincerely hope that, together with the first volume, this book will be read and cherished by all our readers as a substantial record of their thirteen-year journey.

We have tried to reproduce the pages as they appeared when originally published, but some layouts and typefaces have been changed for editorial reasons. All information reflects the time of publication; some items have since ended or changed. In addition, page numbers have deliberately been omitted from pages where design was given priority. Thank you for your understanding.
