Yuri Nakamura (Songs, Vocal)

She is responsible for composition and vocals, composing all of GARNET CROW’s music. As a composer, she has also provided works for other artists, including ZARD’s “Tomatteita Tokei ga Ima Ugokidashita.” She says, “I cannot imagine a world without music,” and has been familiar with classical music since childhood. Her melodic sensibility, shaped by her fondness for renowned composers such as Chopin, Schumann, and Tchaikovsky, carries the imprint of the classical music that forms her foundation: romantic melodies, dynamic musical development, and beautiful harmonies. Her distinctive alto voice, at times powerful and at times gently enveloping, radiates a strong originality.
She is also highly regarded for her chorus work, and participated as a guest chorus singer in [ZARD “What a beautiful memory Tour”] held in 2007 and 2008.
