Listening again, I feel the momentum of this direction is still very strong. “His Voyage” is interesting because the musical style and the imagery of the lyrics are mismatched. Its bright, simple, gently advancing feel brings out the flavor of the lyrics, and the song immediately got stuck in my head. (・∀・)/~~~ “Ring Ring a ding” is not too light, yet it never gets in the way; it has a perfectly breezy arrangement. The guitar running through it gives the song a different and very effective kind of stimulation from “Yume Hanabi.” Even GARNET’s C/W tracks feel fresh now. There is a lot to look forward to.

I bought the first pressing. I have heard “Yume Hanabi” so much in MÄR that I skipped it. “Voyage” is unusually refreshing—an outright summer song. The melody is bright, but the lyrics are frightening. ((((；゜Д゜))) “Ring Ring,” as they said in the interview, is “Never Ending Story.” Both the melody and lyrics are very pure, and it is pleasant to hear. Still, neither C/W track has a chorus; they are mostly repeated A sections, which is a little odd. “Rai Rai Ya” is the same, and all three songs are too short. They specially recorded an orchestral version, but it is only a little over a minute. Come on. orz Honestly, the cover is not very interesting. This song feels as though it is written from the viewpoint of someone who truly understands “you.” That is probably the “doting on you” impression mentioned in >>796, but I think that is exactly what gives the song its tenderness and appeal. I also like how Nana always puts a phrase in her lyrics that makes your heart tremble. In this song it comes at the beginning of the second verse, sung with harmonies, which makes it even more moving.
