GIZA cannot sell records, so it panders to otaku → ordinary people are driven away → underground-idol status → staff and singers become increasingly friendly with otaku → ordinary people are driven away → vicious cycle. Premium Live was supposed to break this cycle, but regulars apparently learned the selection conditions, so almost all casual otaku were eliminated and the opposite effect occurred.
