I don't know if it's true or a hoax, but I won't believe it until I hear it from the members themselves. Even if it is true, I want to respect the path they choose. GARNET CROW's music has supported me whenever I was down or going through a hard time, so if this happens, it'll hurt more than I can put into words. To the person leaking internal info: If this is true, what you've done is awful. Is this really what someone who's supposedly becoming a fan does—announcing it on your own and ignoring what the members want? If you care about GARNET CROW, please stop posting. Well, honestly, from the album previews it feels like they've run out of ideas. It's been obvious since the fifth album, but way too many arrangements sound alike. Especially that old guy—maybe he's totally tapped out.

"Mou Ichido Waratte" has an early-Garnet vibe that makes you think of death, doesn't it? But what about lyrics like "I run through your body" in another song? Lyrics like that aren't like GARNET CROW. What's going on with the chuunibyou/menhera lyricist? Did something change in her state of mind? "Hop, step, jump" and all that lol. "Will you be proud of me? In the end..." That's got an early-days feel, I like it. "Mou Ichido Waratte" keeps running through my head. I've gotten hooked on "Mou Ichido," so I'm looking forward to the album now.

At the Ninna-ji live, the up-tempo songs like "Yume Hanabi" are awful. She can't hit the notes, the pitch is all over the place, and she can't keep the rhythm.

The new album is pretty good, you know. Since "Towa ni Nemure," "Mou Ichido, Waratte" is the first song that unexpectedly made me tear up. I really like the parts where Yuri-ppe seems to belt it out in her natural voice. It doesn't sound processed. I still don't want them to disband, you know.

But it's kinda getting repetitive.

In a way, this album feels like a return to their roots.

Well, the single CD era's probably going away. It'll be all digital downloads.

Has her voice really gotten that much worse? It's different from before, but I don't think it's worse. More husky, I guess. Well, it just suits my taste better now lol.

If anything, I think her singing has obviously improved. She used to be bad, so she could only sing like that, and it felt like they covered it up with mixing too. Now she can sing better than before, and they seem to bring the vocals forward in the recordings, so I'm sure she hates being told her voice has deteriorated or that it was better before... Well, I love her early voice too.

Bringing it forward just makes her bad singing stand out. The balance is off.

It's an easy album to listen to all the way through, even if there's no one track that really stands out.

Is this the Yuri/Nana thread now? If you haven't listened to a lot of different music, I guess this album sounds like a bunch of things stitched together. The old guy's arrangements have an AOR flavor. I think it feels like their roots, the first album, because neo-acoustic and AOR aren't that far apart musically.

I feel like the main thread is full of absolute judgments, while the Yuri/Nana thread has more relative ones. The Yuri/Nana thread regulars seem to listen to a wider range of music than the people in the main thread, so maybe that's why there are more positive comments there?

Nana's face on the album cover looks like it's gone downhill, or maybe she's getting into that middle-aged weight-gain phase. I mean, it's only natural for her age, but still, it's sad.
