Still, I think Gane-Cro’s genuinely good period ended with the second album.

I thought the same way at first. Later works are like kelp: you need time to understand what’s good about them. The conclusion is that they’re good!!

I understand the old-fan mentality too, but people should calmly listen to the newer work as well.

The sixth album really grows on you. The more I listen, the more I like it. Some people criticize it harshly, but I hope they’ll at least listen carefully about 100 times before reaching a conclusion.

Gane-Cro rarely misses the mark. That’s Gane-Cro.

I understand what people mean when they say it “grows on you,” but if you need to listen to something about 100 times to understand it, that also means it can’t grab new or casual fans. You see the word “grows on you” everywhere. Put another way, doesn’t that mean listeners can’t appreciate how good it is on the first one or two plays? That won’t help them attract new fans. I don’t know whether that’s good or bad, but at least you can say it shows a lack of ambition.

But aren’t there also people who are blown away the moment they hear it? For longtime fans it may be something that “grows on you,” though.

Call it something that grows on you if you like, but I admit the lyrics are good. The music itself has hit a bit of a bottleneck.

Anyway, the first album is the strongest. Tracks 1, 5, 6, 8, and 10 are especially good.
