GARNET CROW's “word scope in M.F.M.” (Vol.82)

To everyone who was looking forward to AZUKI NANA's turn this time, I am sorry!
GARNET CROW is currently busy with creative work, so I, a member of the GARNET staff, am writing this column in her place.
I wondered what I could write that would give everyone who had been waiting something enjoyable, and since the release of a single is approaching, I would like to talk about that…

First, there is the single “Yume no Hitotsu,” scheduled for release in August.
This song, too, turned out not to be easy to complete (sweat).
YURI NAKAMURA gave us the song around the beginning of this year, and it did not take long to decide that it was a single candidate. But after that came GARNET CROW's trademark attention to detail!
We tried many different arrangements and lyric patterns, and the song was completed only after quite a few twists and turns.
The finished version made all that effort worthwhile: it is a wonderful song, perfectly suited to the end of summer!
I think people who like ballads such as “Kimi to Iu Hikari” will especially enjoy this number.

The August 8 project is also moving forward day by day!
We filmed some of the material the other day, and the location had a wonderful atmosphere. All four members were able to film in a very good mood.

GARNET is always cool in its music and other work, but whenever all the members get together, the set is full of laughter as usual.
People who meet them for the first time are often surprised (laughs).
I think we will be able to bring you a warm program that captures that atmosphere, so please look forward to this one as well!

And there is more: preparations for the live shows are also underway at the same time!
The set list is almost complete, and thank you to everyone who sent requests for songs you wanted to hear in response to YURI's message on her website diary.
We have included as many as possible in the draft set list!
From what I have seen, it includes not only “LOCKS,” but also nostalgic and unexpected songs, and the plans are packed with variety.
I think you will enjoy a show with a different feel from the winter concerts. Please look forward to this too!

To celebrate GARNET CROW's eighth anniversary, the much-missed program [GARNET TIME] will return as a special edition!! And what is more! The four members of GARNET CROW will take on the challenge of producing the program! Hitoshi Okamoto will host, welcoming YURI NAKAMURA, AZUKI NANA, and Hirohito Furui as guests in turn, and will give an early look at the appeal of the single “Yume no Hitotsu” and the live show taking place the following week! Be sure to watch the studio live performances broadcast between the talk segments, too!
