New Single “Hyakunen no Kodoku” 2008.10.22 On Sale!!

GARNET CROW's first summer live show, “GARNET CROW livescope 2008〜Are you ready to lock on!?〜,” ended to great acclaim, and the group continues its fulfilling musical activities. Their new single “Hyakunen no Kodoku” will be released on October 22. Since it is the theme song for the film “Fist of the North Star: The New Saviour Legend — Kenshiro Den,” which opens nationwide on October 11, many of you may already have heard it. The song was created after they were offered the film theme assignment, and its solemn, fragile intro is steeped in an exotic atmosphere. The arrangement combines analog synthesizers with orchestral sounds and includes turns that startle the listener, resulting in a number that treasures each individual sound while unfolding boldly. Pay attention to the lyrics, which are closely linked to the world of the film. We hope you will savor the song along with the powerful vocals singing the loneliness carried by the protagonist as he walks across a desolate land.
The coupling tracks are equally substantial.
