GARNET CROW announced at its Akasaka BLITZ concert that a best album would be released next spring. We can hardly take our eyes off this increasingly energetic group as it approaches its tenth anniversary!
music freak Es plans to celebrate their tenth anniversary for an entire year with the series “more GARNET CROW life.” We are also pleased to announce that they will continue contributing to this column! We look forward to working with all the members in the years ahead. And so, this time Hitoshi Okamoto takes the stage!

The season of dazzling red poinsettias has arrived. As the cold sinks into our bodies, how has everyone been?

GARNET CROW's live-house tour ended successfully just the other day.
The immediacy, sense of unity, and quick response unique to live houses! Regardless of the size of the venue, the live performance we should aim for ought to be the same, but I felt that the physical differences were much greater than I had imagined.
Performing in places I was visiting for the first time was also very refreshing. It was my first time setting foot in Hokkaido personally, too, so I was deeply moved to tread on that vast northern land (tears).

This tour is over, but in just another month the first New Year's countdown live will arrive, followed by next year's tour, so the live performances will continue for a long time yet. It is rather demanding, but in this case it seems better to keep the switch in your mind turned on. Even if it consumes standby power, leaving the main power on may actually let you work more efficiently.
Above all, I want to carry the power I received from fans in so many places this time into our next live performances.

Finally, music freak magazine is going on hiatus with this month's issue. Thank you for all your hard work over such a long time. While feeling the sadness of parting, I am also excited that a new publication, “music freak Es,” is beginning, and that we will have new encounters again!
As long as music continues, music freak will live on! And with that...

Thanks to everyone's support, GARNET CROW has been able to reach its tenth year since debut!
Thank you so much!
Looking back, there have been so many things: fun things, happy things, and difficult things. But what has left the strongest impression on me is, of course, our live performances. I still cannot forget the nervousness of our first live show. The concert we held at the World Heritage site Ninna-ji was also deeply moving. I believe the moon that appeared that night was shining down on the stage just for us (laughs).
And while we have been in full live mode since last year, our best tour begins on February 27 this year. I hope we can show you the culmination of our ten years of activity. All the members are highly motivated!
Please come and join us. Let's spend a wonderful time together! And let's get excited! We hope you will continue to support GARNET CROW in our tenth year.
