Hello, this is Furui.
GARNET CROW celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. From last year into this year, we put our energy not only into releases but also into live performances, beginning with “livescope 2009 ~Yoake no Soul~,” followed by the countdown live and the release of the best album, together with “Happy 10th Anniversary livescope 2010 ~THE BEST TOUR~.”

This time we were able to perform many more shows than usual across Japan and spend enjoyable time with a truly large number of people!!
And then there are the support members who are indispensable to livescope.
With the always funky Kaichi Kurose, Masato Ohashi, who has walked with us for eight years, and promising young player Seisuke Karita, I think the groove we built from our personal relationships became something comfortable that only they could create (laughs).
We were also supported by many people in each section, and I think the total number of people involved was more than 100.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the musicians and staff who support us, as well as to all the fans who cheer us on. We will continue working hard to deliver high-quality GARNET sound to you.

In this tenth-anniversary year, please keep watching GARNET CROW, a group that still has so much ahead of it.

Brazil, as expected, and Spain with the expectations of soccer fans behind them.
Well, yes, those are safe choices.
Personally, I would also say Argentina.
Please let them play freely~ Coach, I'm counting on you.
And I would add Italy too (laughs).
The kind of team that can start sluggishly, then turn it on at key moments and say, “It's fine if we just get serious when it matters...”
No, I am really looking forward to it.
What about Japan?
Of course they can do it!
If the whole team is in a good mood, plays boldly, and functions wonderfully, if at least two players have a surprise breakout performance worthy of “We actually did it!”, and if the opposing countries underestimate them just a little, we may be able to see a path through the group stage.
After that, it will come down to luck and momentum!
If it is a tournament full of upsets, there is no reason Japan could not make the semifinals.

This year we had a cold spring, and it has still been chilly enough that there was no need to change over our clothes.
I went cherry-blossom viewing in a rather serious, proper way.
There was no alcohol or bento, and not a trace of the usual revelry—just pure flower viewing.
A quiet hanami among the elderly.
Still, there is something different about the cherry trees that reliably receive visitors every single year.
They feel like model students, don't they?

Whether flashy or quietly dignified, the cherry trees really do have a wonderful presence.
That is why people make a point of coming to see them, which is only natural, I suppose.
