Hello, everyone. This is Yuri Nakamura.
This is a little while ago now, but how did everyone spend Golden Week?
I took a little time off too and relaxed.
I had not had a break for a while, so I went to Disneyland, which I had wanted to visit for a long time!!
I refreshed myself in the Land of Dreams. It really is fun.
My favorite attractions are Pooh's Hunny Hunt in Disneyland,
and Tower of Terror in DisneySea.
I am fine with and actually like fairly intense rides too. How about everyone else?
I also like the nighttime parade, and I wave along with the little children~
When Mickey waves back at you,
your excitement really rises, doesn't it?
It is making me want to go again~!
The weather is warm now and we are having one good day for going out after another,
so I would like to breathe in as much outdoor air as possible
and refresh my mind too!
Of course, with GARNET's songs as my companions!

Voices of people outside the window, the sound of a bottle dropping from a vending machine, the sounds of cars passing, the sound of someone throwing something, a sudden announcement from a police car, an ambulance siren...
Inside the house, the sound of a radio left on, noises from the floor above, the sound of someone practicing an instrument, the exhaust fan, the sounds of appliances such as the refrigerator and air conditioner...
Even when I try to sleep, all kinds of sounds enter my ears and make me think about one thing or another. It feels as though my brain cannot rest. Lately, “sound” has been especially noisy.
Half of this year has already passed, but I spent two of those months with otitis media. Perhaps the part of me that is not functioning well has become more sensitive, or perhaps I have become more prone to fatigue. It keeps making its presence known so strongly. How strange. I read somewhere that human ears can cancel only the frequencies they do not want to hear, though.
Not only can we shut our eyes to things we do not want to see, but we can also eliminate odors we do not want to smell.
I read that shutting down the circuits of sensitivity to protect ourselves from perceptual noise that disrupts the body's balance is a self-defense system.
I was admiring how amazingly well the human body is designed, but...
Come to think of it, did you ever play the game “drop the handkerchief,” which sharpens your senses in the opposite way? When we were children. At the time, we concentrated desperately on trying to find the “sound” of the handkerchief falling, but now I realize that it was a much more sensory, perceptual kind of game.
The question was whether you could sense the demon's impure thought and shift in energy when they decided, “I am going to drop the handkerchief here.”
Just like a lie detector, you sensed the body's faint signals: a person's rising heart rate, perspiration, changes in body odor, irregular breathing...
“Hide-and-seek” is the same kind of game, one that senses someone's “presence.”
Hmm. I want to play it. I want to concentrate every nerve. I want to test how much of my fundamental sense remains and how much of it I can still use.
By the way, it seems that anxiety, envy, hostility, and similar feelings also produce bodily signals that a lie detector can read. Well, if you feel, “Somehow this place is uncomfortable,” then that is probably what is going on.
