word scope in m.f.Es

This is the time of year when I brace myself for pollen allergy season to arrive soon...
Every year, we hear that air pollution in various regions has reached an abnormal level, even causing deaths.

It seems the pollution in China has conveniently drifted all the way to Japan as well.

And that pollution has conveniently drifted all the way to Japan as well.

The following is excerpted from various news reports.

“Since the beginning of this month, Chinese state television news has reported day after day that air-pollution concentrations in Beijing and elsewhere have reached levels dangerous to human health, and that local governments are urging residents to avoid going outside.”
“It has been pointed out that this air pollution from China is also affecting Japan, particularly western Japan.”

“In the Hokuriku region as well, especially in spring—from March until before the rainy season begins—we can see that this is also the season when yellow dust arrives.”

“The effects of air pollution from yellow dust can therefore be expected to appear.”

“Last year, approximately 8,600 people died in four cities, including Beijing and Shanghai, from causes linked to PM2.5.”

“There is not just one or two causes. They include coal used for heating, exhaust from cars that have spread rapidly, and pollutants emitted from factories and construction sites.”

“If we calmly observe what is happening, it is fundamentally an extremely severe pollution problem caused by leaving environmental measures unattended for so long that there is almost nothing left to do.”

“Companies that release large amounts of pollutants and the government offices that should regulate them have both been covering up inconvenient truths under a one-party dictatorship controlled by the Communist Party. The bill for that has now erupted as unprecedented air pollution.”

(PM2.5 is one of the air pollutants: particulate matter no more than 2.5 micrometers in diameter. When inhaled, it can reach deep into the lungs and may cause respiratory and circulatory diseases such as lung cancer.)

Yellow dust also seems to become more common from February through May. I will not be able to hang laundry outside again.
—This is no time to leisurely wipe down a bicycle lightly coated with yellow dust.

China has conducted repeated nuclear tests since 1964...

“Recent research analyzing the components of yellow dust has revealed that it contains radiation from nuclear tests conducted by nuclear-armed countries (radioactive materials such as plutonium, radioactive cesium, and radioactive strontium—the fallout).”
“Microorganisms such as bacteria and mold attached to the yellow dust have also been confirmed.”

Honestly, what are we supposed to do?

For now, before meddling in other countries’ territories or holding anti-Japanese demonstrations, please clean up your own country. I want to live under clear skies.

GARNET CROW (vol.39・final installment)
word scope in m.f.Es

Hello, everyone.
This is Yurippe.

How are you doing during this season when pollen is flying everywhere?

Your eyes may itch, your nose may tickle, and before you know it, you may have a runny nose...

Those with severe allergies may even be overcome by exhaustion throughout their bodies and feel sluggish.

It can be a fairly stressful season.

At times like that, I make a habit of enjoying a relaxing bath with one of my favorite scents.

Lately, chamomile has been my favorite. Its sweet-and-sour, apple-like scent helps me relax and seems to ease stress.

I also drink chamomile tea to warm my body and enjoy a leisurely, luxurious stretch of time. What scents do you all like?

I hope we can find our favorites and spend our days free from stress.

Well, this column has reached its final installment. The members have taken turns writing it each time, and whoever was on duty would think up topics, worry for ages about what to write, or start searching for ideas ahead of time, saying, “My turn is next!” Each member had their own pace, and we were able to keep it going enjoyably.

Thank you for reading it for the long span of approximately eleven and a half years.
