I went to several CD shops before I finally found “Sekai wa Mawaru to Iu Keredo.” There are hardly any copies around Musashino. The HMV in Kichijoji only had two, and I managed to get one. I used to be able to buy their CDs easily.

Forgot to mention, but the A-side is amazing this time, too... “Sekai wa mawaru to iu keredo” (“They say the world goes round”) lol I don't want her to sing it any other way. lol The C-section and the lyrics right after it really got me.

I just bought the new single. Now I get what someone in the last thread meant by “they're clearly aiming for the obi strip.” lol By the way, do you only get the poster at big stores?

Sounds like the ZARD memorial tour is going to last about half a year. Will GARNET even be able to do anything properly next year? I guess for Being, an easy-money memorial tour matters more than Gane...

I'm late, but I bought it. My thoughts on “Sekai wa...” Dark... It's gloomy... especially the lyrics. Well, that bittersweet feeling has always been part of their appeal. Is this their first ballad since “Rai Rai Ya”? The slow-tempo intro reminded me of that song. But from the familiar “kizutsuite...” part that we'd heard on the homepage onward, it feels like a completely different song. “They say the world goes round... Let's just watch. We'll pass the time counting things for no reason. I want to keep looking...” Is it okay to be that detached, Nana-san...? Did something painful happen to you? Maybe because “Namida no Yesterday” is upbeat, it felt like there was hope even through the tears. But with this song... just watching isn't going to change anything, Nana-san. With all the singles coming out lately, I keep feeling like they're a series, but I guess they aren't. There are tie-ins to consider, too. I like the old songs like “holy ground” that are so dark and philosophical they're completely beyond saving. This one feels like it's only halfway bittersweet. That's my rambling first impression. I'll listen to it more. I'm going to listen to the B-sides now, too.

Most of their songs are hard, but the ones Mochi sang were easier for me. “Last Love,” “Sen Ijou no Kotoba,” “MÄR Heaven,” “Mikansei,” “KuriGe,” and so on—if you lower the key.

You could probably sing “Kanata made Hikari wo,” too, if you take it down an octave.

“Kimi Kazu,” “Wasurezaki,” “Bokura dake,” and “Rai Rai Ya” are easy, too. lol

A lot of their song titles are literally lyrics from the chorus, so keep that in mind and make us a fake track-list album.

Indulging in such vulgar, third-rate entertainment as pop music is itself idiotic. And doing so in a public place where other people can see you is even worse. The fact that otaku can't grasp how embarrassing this is is what makes them otaku. You could say they lack common sense, or that their taste is simply too lowbrow. I admit there are some excellent pop songs that make good use of the medium's strengths, but most are just cheap melodramas designed to fleece idiots who can't tell the difference. Most music distributed through the media is that kind of thing. So if people see you listening to pop music, you can't blame them for judging you as that sort of person.

Hello. I'm a salaryman earning 1.2 million yen a year (not counting my disability pension). I'm 43, have never had a girlfriend, and am still a virgin. I've heard that since a lot of GIZA artists have quiet voices, they crank the mic sensitivity? way up, so without the panel the vocal mic would pick up too much of the drums.

In Yurippe's case specifically, I think she has plenty of volume. Aiuchi has plenty of volume too and she still has the panel.
