About a year ago I had a dream where GARNET CROW played a live in a shrine precinct. Seriously shocking!

A while back I had a dream where I watched a news report of a GIZA executive saying at a press conference that the PV for their next single has a brief, one-instant fully nude scene of Yurippe. The "just an instant" part made it feel oddly credible. Should I get my hopes up?

I think a band with personality like Gane is necessary. I think Nana-san's lyrics have personality and are good too. Even if the meaning escapes you when you string them together, I think each individual phrase says something worthwhile. Nana-san's lyrics feel like they're trying to grasp and express things broadly. But since nobody else writes lyrics with this kind of thinking, it's obvious she isn't using a ghostwriter. More to the point, once the new year comes, will the cherry-blossom songs come out again like a one-trick pony? Chasing the same loach under the same willow — Naotaro season is here!

Ninnaji sounded calm and well-sung compared to the past DVDs. Because it was outdoors? If anything I was worried about how loose Nana-san was in the first half. She was really into it in the second half though w And the dress was lovely. I mean, it looked expensive... Even if you wear the same outfit on next year's tour I won't be mad, Yurippe.

Listening to the first album for the first time in a while. This album really does have the most unity and is the easiest to listen to. If this is what they did on a first album, it made me realize again that Gane really is a group built on quality.

ZARD to "appear" on Kohaku　NHK announces On the 6th, NHK announced that during the New Year's Eve Kohaku Uta Gassen broadcast it will air, as a special feature, a film concert by ZARD, the unit of Sakai Izumi, who died in an accident this May. The film concert will be held from 7:20pm on the 31st at NHK Osaka Hall in Osaka, a place connected to Sakai as the base of her musical activities, timed to the live Kohaku broadcast. Members who served as ZARD's backing band will appear and perform live along with Sakai's singing voice. Unreleased footage of Sakai from when she was alive will be shown on a large screen. This will be broadcast during the Kohaku program, though the airtime has not been decided. Oh, so they are appearing.

I like more songs on the 2nd, but I prefer the flow of the 3rd as a whole album. The 1st gets good reviews but I don't like it much.

Rather than buying them all at once, I think it's fine to work through them one at a time. Sorry, I'm a newbie too — I went 5→best→indies→1→2→3→4. The 3rd is good, right. The songs have atmosphere. The 1st grows on you as you listen, but personally I also like the quirky feel of the 4th.

Is the Latin direction unpopular with Gane fans? I like Bokura Dake no Mirai, Yume・Hanabi and Kakurenbo. I'd like to hear a bright Latin-style song like Kitahara Aiko's too.

This may be old news, but if anyone knows, please tell me. A while back, in the DIARY on GARNET's site, Yurippe, Furui-san and Okamochi each wrote about their feelings for the late Sakai Izumi, but now those are deleted and in their place there's only a comment written jointly by the four of them (07.06.27). Why did they replace them with a joint comment? Nana-san was the only one who hadn't written in the diary, and I'd figured she was busy as usual, but was it a judgment that having just one person not write looked bad...?? Sorry for the long post.
