The long rainy season is over and summer has arrived! GARNET CROW are currently in the middle of releasing singles three months in a row. This time, AZUKI Nana takes the stage!

The rainy season ended late this year, didn’t it?
At long last, it’s the season when the number of areas with water at a temperature suitable for swimming increases dramatically.
The body won’t move if you don’t eat. You can’t create anything if you don’t play. No, making things is play!
Huh? Something sounds funny there.
This summer I’m planning to move little by little and check out snorkeling spots, but every time I think, “Was the sea really this cold?”
Come to think of it, the swimming lessons at school were cold when I was in elementary school… But the classroom was hot…
Oh, is it really true that these days students take pictures of what is written on the blackboard with a digital camera instead of copying it into their notebooks during class?
Lucky them. That task was so painful back then.
…But this is no time to sit around in a daze. Lately, when I wake up, I feel as though my brain is melting out of my head… This is no time for that! Right.
GARNET CROW are right in the middle of their three-month consecutive release campaign! Clap clap…
This situation was completely impossible to predict just two months ago, but yes, things are lively.
We’re going straight to our fifth album with this momentum!

GARNET CROW’s “word scope in M.F.M” (Vol.61)

This month, GARNET CROW are showing energetic activity, with the third installment of their three-month consecutive single releases, “Maboroshi,” and the long-awaited fifth album due in October!! This time, Hitoshi Okamoto takes the stage!

I’m always conscious of the time lag between writing and publication, so I think I’ll avoid timely topics here.
But! Wow, high school baseball was unusually incredible this year! The Nettō Kōshien broadcasts on the days when a powerhouse school loses are seriously dangerous. Even though I think I understand that they are made to say, “Go ahead and cry!”, they get me crying easily every time.
The brutally demanding schedule, holding every game at one stadium in the scorching heat, oxygen capsules to heal the players, and professional-level streaks of consecutive appearances that would make even the pros turn pale… I sometimes find myself thinking that all of it is part of creating heroes (or has it been repurposed that way?).

Anyway, it is around the time when summer vacation is drawing to a close, and I remember feeling vaguely depressed when the Koshien final ended when I was little—the Sunday-night Sazae-san effect.
I was surprisingly the type of child who finished most of my summer homework in July, so around this time I would spend my days wondering what to do about the two most troublesome assignments left: the independent research project and the book report.
Hmm, nostalgia.
