GARNET CROW's “word scope in M.F.M” (Vol.66)

GARNET CROW released its first single of 2007.
It seems the song is packed with some new ideas…!
Hiroto Furui tells us about the new release!

On February 21, we released our first single of 2007.
For “Kaze to RAINBOW” and “Kono Te wo Nobaseba,” we prepared two jacket designs for our first double A-side release. Since the songs were tie-ins for the anime “MÄR,” we even asked the author, Mr. Anzai, to draw an original illustration of the members for us despite his busy schedule. The result is a truly luxurious package.

The contents are also quite substantial: “Kaze to RAINBOW” includes a single version as well as a TV Edit.
“Kono Te wo Nobaseba” has been finished as a ballad in the GARNET style, and the coupling track “Mawarimichi” has also received support from many of you.
For us, who place great importance on our coupling tracks as well, that means a great deal.

This release is filled to the brim with everyone's thoughts, so please give it a listen!!

At last, the warm season has arrived. Spring is the season when nature begins to stir.
This time, YURI NAKAMURA, who says she loves cherry blossoms, takes the stage.

Hello, everyone. How are you? I'm doing very well.
So, have you gone to see the cherry blossoms yet?
I have hay fever, but I love cherry blossoms, so I would really like to see them up close.
I hope to tour cherry-blossom spots all over Japan this year, but we'll see how that goes.
The ones that have caught my attention include the cherry blossoms of Yoshino in Nara Prefecture, the cherry blossoms of Hirosaki in Aomori Prefecture, Miharu Takizakura in Fukushima Prefecture, one of Japan's three great cherry trees, Yamataka Jindai-zakura in Yamanashi Prefecture, and Usuzumi-zakura in Neo Valley, Gifu Prefecture.
When I stand before cherry trees that have accumulated thousands of years of history, I feel as though they would swallow up all of life's worries and anxieties.
Lately, I've been wanting to experience beautiful things in nature.
