GARNET CROW has announced a series of upcoming releases, including a live DVD and a new song.
This month, AZUKI Nana takes the stage! She talks about “spring” as she sees it through her uniquely perceptive eyes.

Spring came again this year.
‘Spring.’
Is ‘spring’ warm?
The ‘cherry blossoms’ have bloomed.
It’s cold in the ‘late-spring chill.’
I feel like I’m going to freeze at the ‘cherry-blossom viewing.’
The rain falls softly, and spring falls softly… softly…?
Gently… maybe?
Spring rain, harusame → fine rain that falls quietly. I see.
I wonder whether even this changes its nuance as the environment changes.
Will dictionaries start saying, “(Note: an expression from before global warming)”?
Harusame, harusame…? The transparent, smooth noodles.
I wonder if they were named after spring rain?
If I sprinkle them over a flowerpot, they do make it feel as if I’ve managed to represent rainfall. Sort of. Yes.
When I eat them, well, it feels a little like eating spring.
Drizzling rain, spring showers—beautiful. Oh, there’s also a food with “shigure” in its name.
Back and forth between spring and food.
Is it hot or cold? Comfortable or uncomfortable?
In a climate where I can’t really tell, this indecisive train of thought with nowhere to land must be in “spring mode.”
Chaos, chaos, chaos, chaos × ∞

GARNET CROW will finally release its live DVD this month.
This time, Hitoshi Okamoto takes the stage. What, you're doing your year-end cleaning now…?!

I never got around to doing my year-end cleaning last year.
The months passed, I missed my chance again during Golden Week, and I finally finished it in mid-May.
I’m seriously glad I got it done before the hot summer arrived!
Getting covered in sweat and dust is really tough.
So, even though it was completely out of season, I did my big cleaning.
Compared with the past, I’ve become much better at throwing things away.
This, this, and this can go! If I hesitate, straight into the trash.
I just regard each item as something that never belonged in my house in the first place.
That lets me throw away most things.

Still, it is my doghouse, after all.
There are so many bulky things that cleaning is extremely difficult, and it’s quite a workout.
Right now, I’m in the middle of some wonderfully painful muscle soreness, with my body packed full of lactic acid.
And so, I feel ready to greet the second half of 2007 with a fresh mind.
