This GARNET CROW series, “word scope in M.F.M.,” has reached its 76th installment! This column has remained popular since it began, and we will continue bringing it to you in 2008!
The members are currently recording a new album, but AZUKI NANA has sent us a column in the midst of her busy schedule!!!

Hello, it's the New Year.
I hate horror scenes.
Even so, there are films I want to see.
But I do not like seeing blood.
And yet there are actors I want to watch.
Still, I cannot accept going out of my way to frighten myself.
When I imagine the nightmares that would keep appearing afterward, my mood drops before I have even seen the film, and I can even feel nauseated.
My dislike of people rises sharply, too.
Scenes of people hating one another, harboring malice, hurting one another, bullying one another, and so on… have enough power to affect me even when they are only in a film.
And yet I want to see it, hear it, and find out for myself!!
That person's appearance, that person's voice, the way that person works!!
Ah… I really do want to see “Pirates of the Caribbean.”
Well, I have not seen it, so I do not actually know how many horror scenes it contains, but I am hesitating based only on the image in my head.
Yes. I need the courage to satisfy my curiosity!
That is my first resolution of the year.
Hmm. Resolutions should be manageable and a little modest, shouldn't they?

The popular series “GARNET CROW's word scope in M.F.M.” has reached its 77th installment!
Hirohito Furui has brought us some happy news worthy of the auspicious number “double lucky seven”!

GARNET CROW's sixth album, 『LOCKS』, will be released on March 12!!
Coming about a year and a half after the previous album, this release is filled with songs created in an extremely natural and pure state of mind.
The way last year's singles fit together with the album tracks is exquisite, too. If you gently close your eyes and let the sound carry you, I think you will surely feel the messages entrusted to the songs…
The first edition also includes two bonus DVD versions: live footage from the show we held at Kyoto's Ninna-ji Temple last October, and a music video collection featuring tracks from the album.
I hope you will experience GARNET CROW's world with both your eyes and your ears.
