When we were appearing on television, I missed the Shinkansen and arrived about an hour late.

●Which GARNET CROW song is your favorite, or the one that means the most to you?
The song that means the most to me → “夢みたあとで”
My favorite → “未完成な音色”

●If you had to represent GARNET CROW or its members with one kanji character each, what would they be?
・GARNET → 紅
・CROW → 鳥
・Hirohito Furui → 師
・Hitoshi Okamoto → 匠
・AZUKI Nana → 吟

●What impressions do you have of the other three members?
・Hirohito Furui → 剛
・Hitoshi Okamoto → 柔
・AZUKI Nana → 活

●Is there another job you would like to try besides your current work?
A café.

●If you had a time machine, would you go to the past or the future? Why?
・The past → I would like to meet Murasaki Shikibu and Sei Shōnagon.

●If you could become an animal, what would you be? Why?
・A bird → I would like to fly freely through the open sky.

●Have you been particularly into anything lately?
Sleeping on organic-cotton sheets or under an organic-cotton duvet.

●What is your mobile phone ringtone?
“Dancing Queen.”

●What would you do if you had a month off?
Travel.

●Where would you like to go if you were taking a trip?
I would like to see the aurora.

●What kind of life would you like to be living ten years from now?
The same musical life I have now.

●Now that you have reached your fifth anniversary, is there anything you would like to take on next?
We have a live show coming up in December, so I would like to try a structure and staging with a different flavor from our previous concerts.

On the day we were recording a music program, only Yurippe had not boarded the train we were traveling on. It was a shock.

●Which GARNET CROW song is your favorite, or the one that means the most to you?
This is... impossible to choose.

●If you had to represent GARNET CROW or its members with one kanji character, what would it be?
・GARNET CROW → 御輿

●What impressions do you have of the other three members?
All three of them are always getting injured or sick.

●Is there another job you would like to try besides your current work?
I would like to try anything.

●What did you dream of becoming when you were a student?
An artist in Europe.

●Have you been particularly into anything lately?
Novels by British authors.

●What is your mobile phone ringtone?
I have never changed the ringtone since I first started using a mobile phone. It is always on silent mode, too.

●What would you do if you had a month off?
I would read to my heart's content somewhere in the European countryside, where the greenery is lush and the air is clean.

●Where would you like to go if you were taking a trip?
Everywhere in the world, as thoroughly as possible.

●What kind of life would you like to be living ten years from now?
A life without clocks.

●Now that you have reached your fifth anniversary, is there anything you would like to take on next?
I'm still thinking about it.

●Each member has a role, such as writing the lyrics, and every work strongly feels like “a song created through everyone's combined efforts.” It is rare to find a group where the whole band, not only the vocalist, has such a strong presence. I love that atmosphere in GARNET CROW. Their lyrics do not directly say things like “keep going” or “I love you”; instead, they watch over someone from a distance, and you can feel how deeply they care.
