This time, I thought I would talk a little about what GARNET CROW has been up to,
along with some announcements...

Since our live show in March, we have spent several months concentrating on production,
but we have now decided to release a single!!
We are busy with various preparations every day,
but I think the songs selected this time have each turned out to be a good, well-balanced selection,
with their own character, a sense of GARNET CROW, and plenty of potential,
so please look forward to them!!

The release is still a little way off, in the latter half of September,
but I think the Music Clip has also become a slightly different world through extensive use of CG,
so I hope you will look forward to that as well.

And this year, our official fan club celebrated its tenth anniversary!!
To commemorate it, although the fan club members will naturally be at the center of the project,
we are planning events and live shows as a way of expressing our gratitude,
including collecting requests for songs you would like to hear live
and seeing whether we can respond to them.
I cannot yet imagine what kind of live show it will be,
but I hope we can make it a fun event with both talk and performances.

We should be able to bring you all kinds of information from here on,
so please keep checking our website and other channels!!

The hot days continue as always, and these days I cannot sense even the slightest hint of autumn in the morning or evening breeze.
How have you all been? This is Hitoshi Okamoto from GARNET CROW.
Speaking of heat, I took part in the OTODAMA live show again this summer.
It was my second live show at Zushi Beach, one year after the first!
The weather was good, which was great.
When I entered the venue, I spotted audience members already pleasantly warmed up by beer!
I was jealous.

The stage felt somewhat cooler than last time,
but it was still an event held under blazing sunshine.
I sweated buckets from beginning to end.
When you sweat that thoroughly, you find yourself impressed by your body's work,
which you do not usually notice.
“Oh, so it actually works properly!” My body, thank you.

The release of GARNET CROW's new song is approaching,
and the Music Clip was completed safely the other day.
This time it is a full-on CG world, computer graphics from start to finish.
That meant all the filming took place in a studio set up with a green screen.
Many scenes demanded a high level of physical ability,
and in particular everyone's sprinting ability was put to the test.
All of the members. Yes, all of us are no longer young,
but we did our best jumping and running around in front of the green screen (laughs).

Another unfamiliar part of the process was acting on the assumption that things that were not there actually existed.
When you think about it, actors on real soundstages are amazing.
They need imagination in addition to acting ability.
The ability to react? To treat something that is not there at the moment as though it actually exists...
They are very grown-up people.
You cannot just say, “I cannot get into it in a sea of green!” anymore; I suppose that is the era we live in.
Later, when everything is joined with the CG, there will probably be small things we regret,
thinking we should have done them a little differently. It is hard work.

So this full-CG Music Clip, which we tackled with our whole bodies,
was a very fresh experience because the filming process was different from usual.
